Mark the calendars! Beginning next week, AZL founder Anna Zuckerman and comedian Jim Fredrick will co-host Anna on the Rocks (with a Twist) (unless we change the name, which could totally happen before then), a weekly Podcast series for fans of jewelry, the industry, small business experience and advice, and generally irreverent (but not vulgar…mostly) humor.
While we are of course trying to introduce the idea of a demi-precious jewelry line to a larger audience, the target audience is really going to be humor enthusiasts. Yes, it’s being developed on behalf of anyone who might be in the market for rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, or even (did we mention?) tiaras, but also very purposefully for people who just simply love to laugh.
The foundational philosophy of this new show is that there’s nothing wrong with creating a fabulous façade, either through amazing jewelry or by crafting an entrepreneurial image, or even stage presence. Every day we have to pretend a little anyway. May as well make it fun!
